The company’s activities are located in the Southern province of Rwanda, in the Nyamagabe District (Kibirizi sector) and in the Western province, in the Karongi district. Both are mountainous and high-altitude regions (1800m – 2000 masl) with sandy loam soil, that are known to have the better coffee in Rwanda. The family’s farm is situated on Nyamurinda Mountain, where our company’s name got its origin. But we also work with a cooperative on Karora Mountain, where we process their Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance-certified coffee.
Nyamurinda has experience with direct export to The Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden of fully washed and natural processed coffee, scoring 85+.

Our Vision
Our vision is to empower ourselves as women, but also to empower other women economically in their community. That’s why Nyamurinda Coffee Growers management, coffee washing station workers and coffee farmers are mostly women.
